The MRI scan can be done sitting, standing or laying down.

Our Stand Up Open MRI unit represents the future in musculoskeletal MRI as it offers additional diagnostic capabilities and can be moved in a true weight-bearing position, allowing us to visualize the actual condition of pathologies.

The MRI unit offers an open design which is non-claustrophobic and its unique design allows for a high-field imaging to be performed with the patient is relaxed and in a supine position.

The Day Before your Appointment:

Our staff will contact you prior to your scheduled appointment date to confirm your upcoming visit.

The Day of your Appointment:

Please bring a photo ID and the prescription from your physician to your appointment.
Wear comfortable clothing that is free from any metal, such as buttons and zippers. If this is not possible, we will provide you with a gown to wear during your exam.
You may eat, drink and take medications as usual unless you are advised differently.
During the exam, you will hear humming, clicking and thumping sounds coming from the equipment. There is no need for alarm, as these sounds are part of the normal functioning of this type of equipment.

Following your visit:

Our radiologists will interpret your images and send a report directly to your doctor.
Our MRI reports will be ready in 24 hours after the completion of your exam and a 4 Hours Turn-around for STAT reports
Your doctor will communicate the results of your exam to you.
